What's
it like at Houghton? Here's just one example: The Geological & Mining
Engineering & Sciences facilities are located on the waterfront of
Portage Lake and the Keweenaw Waterway that connects to east and west
parts of Lake Superior. There is a 4.5 mile long walking and biking trail
just outside the back door of the Dow Environmental Engineering &
Sciences Building and the Minerals & Materials Building.
